About Me

As a psychologist, I take pride in my ability to facilitate change for my clients.

I received my doctorate degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. Prior to opening my private practice I worked at Stanford University’s Counseling and Psychological Services. At Stanford I focused on helping couples with their relationship issues as well as pre-marital counseling. My individual clients came to me with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, identity issues, career ambivalence, disordered eating, substance abuse, sexual issues and obsessive compulsive concerns. I also worked intensively with emotional issues surrounding addiction.

I work with clients who are diverse in ethnicity, sexuality, gender, socioeconomic status and life situations.

I am a proud member of many professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association and the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology.  I attend many conferences throughout the year and make myself aware of the latest developments in psychology.

I am the current Board President of PCPG (Psychoanalytic Couple Psychotherapy Group)

I am licensed in the state of California (PSY21757).
